The Floyd County Buffaloes volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Pulaski County Cougars to 0 in the Buffaloes non-league victory on Monday.

The Buffaloes now have a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Radford for a Three Rivers game on Tuesday, October 4. Floyd County will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-5.

The Cougars (1-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA). The Patriots come into the River Ridge challenge with a 14-3 record. In their last challenge, Patrick Henry defeated Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
