North Carolina High School Volleyball - Lawrence Academy edged by Greenfield

The Greenfield Knights held off the host Lawrence Academy Warriors volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league test.

The Knights now have a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kerr-Vance Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, October 6. Greenfield will confront a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Rocky Mount Academy (Rocky Mount, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 10-13.

The Warriors (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC). The Rams enter the NCISAA Tarheel Independent test with a 1-11 record. In their last test, Ridgecroft was nudged by Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
