The Gwynedd Mercy Academy Monarchs topped the host Villa Joseph Marie Jems volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Monday's league test.

The Monarchs now have a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Haverford for a non-league test on Thursday, October 6. Gwynedd Mercy Academy will confront a Fords team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Strath Haven (Wallingford, PA). The Fords record now stands at 4-4.

The Jems (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Merion Mercy Academy (Merion Station, PA). The Golden Bears enter the Catholic Academies test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Merion Mercy Academy was knocked off by Villa Maria Academy (Malvern, PA), 3-1, in a league test.
