Nevada High School Volleyball - Sierra Vista Silverado

The Silverado Skyhawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Sierra Vista Mountain Lions to 1 in the Skyhawks non-league victory on Monday.

The Skyhawks now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Gorman for a 5A South - Mountain game on Thursday, October 6. Silverado will meet a Gaels team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Sacred Heart (Louisville, KY). The Gaels record now stands at 17-11.

The Mountain Lions (8-11) will now prepare for their game against Durango (Las Vegas, NV). The Trailblazers enter the non-league game with a 4-18 record. In their last game, Durango was dropped by Shadow Ridge (Las Vegas, NV), 3-2, in a league game.
