Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers (Granada Hills, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Vaughn White Tigers (San Fernando, CA), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Vipers battle the Sherman Oaks CES Knights (Reseda, CA) in a Valley match, on Thursday, October 6. Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences will attempt to advance on its 8-9 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 16-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Fulton (Van Nuys, CA).

With the loss, Vaughn drops to 8-1 on the campaign. The White tigers travel to Northridge Academy (Northridge, CA) to battle the Pumas in a Valley match on Thursday, October 6. The Pumas come into the match with a record of 4-7. Northridge Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league match against East Valley (North Hollywood, CA)
