The Western Branch Bruins volleyball team (Chesapeake, VA), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA)

The Grizzlies (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Warriors come into the Southeastern challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Nansemond River went down by Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bruins encounter the King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Western Branch will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Hickory (Chesapeake, VA).
