The Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials held off the visiting Hayfield Hawks volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's league test.
The Colonials now have a 2-0 record.
The Hawks (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Falls Church (Falls Church, VA). The Jaguars enter the test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Falls Church was nudged by Edison (Alexandria, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
