In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Northwestern Regional Highlanders soccer squad scored a close 5-1 triumph over the Wamogo Warriors.
The Highlanders (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Terryville (Terryville, CT). The Kangaroos come into the Berkshire battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Terryville nudged Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT), 3-2, in a league battle.
The Warriors (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Gilbert (Winsted, CT). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Gilbert by Housatonic-Wamogo (Falls Village, CT), 7-1, in a non-league battle.
