In Tuesday's league battle, the host Mt. Abraham Eagles soccer squad scored a close 8-1 win over the Vergennes Commodores.
The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Fair Haven (Fair Haven, VT). The Slaters go into the non-league battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Fair Haven nipped Hartford (White River Junction, VT), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
