The East Ascension Spartans (Gonzales, LA) football edged the host St. Amant Gators (St. Amant, LA), 7-3 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, October 10. East Ascension will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
The Gators (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league bout with a 2-2 record.
