North Carolina High School Soccer - South Point nudges Ashbrook

South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Red Raiders confront the Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 5. South Point will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC).
The Greenwave now possess a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crest for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 11.
