Next, the Buccaneers face the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Laney will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC).

The Pirates now have a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Heide Trask for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 5. Topsail will face a Titans team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC). The Titans record now stands at 1-6.
