In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Clovis Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Carlsbad Cavemen.
The Wildcats now hold a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hobbs for a test on Saturday, October 7. Clovis will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Roswell (Roswell, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Carlsbad drops to 0-8 on the season. The Cavemen travel to Roswell (Roswell, NM) to meet the Coyotes in a test on Saturday, October 7. The Coyotes come into the test with a record of 6-1. Roswell lost 4-1 in their recent league test against Hobbs (Hobbs, NM)
