The Carlisle Chiefs held off the visiting Southwest Virginia Academy Conquerors volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Chiefs now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chatham Hall for a test on Monday, October 9. Carlisle will confront a Turtles team coming off a 2-0 league loss to New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA). The Turtles record now stands at 0-5.

The Conquerors (6-7) will now prepare for their test against North Cross (Roanoke, VA). The Raiders enter the test with a 3-8 record.
