The Marvin Ridge Mavericks held off the visiting Cuthbertson Cavaliers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Mavericks now have a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ardrey Kell for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 4. Marvin Ridge will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Knights record now stands at 13-4.
The Cavaliers (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Butler (Matthews, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 3-9 record.
