The Monticello Mustangs volleyball team scored 1 points and limited the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now have a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Goochland for a non-league game on Thursday, October 5. Monticello will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-7.

The Flying Flucos (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Green Hornets enter the non-league game with a 10-3 record. In their last game, Wilson Memorial held off Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
