The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) and the host Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC), saw Grimsley's volleyball squad beat Ragsdale by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Grimsley upgrades its record to 8-2 on the year. The Whirlies host East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 4. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-7.
The Tigers now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Northwest Guilford for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 5. Ragsdale will play a Vikings squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 9-2.
