The Riverside-Durham Pirates topped the visiting Hillside Hornets volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Pirates now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a non-league test on Thursday, October 5. Riverside-Durham will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 7-6.
The Hornets (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Northern Durham (Durham, NC). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Northern Durham was knocked off by East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
