The North Stokes Vikings volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Mount Airy Granite Bears to 0 in the Vikings non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Vikings now have a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Wilkes for a non-league game on Thursday, October 5. North Stokes will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-5.

The Granite Bears (0-15) will now prepare for their game against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Greyhounds enter the non-league game with a 12-6 record. In their last game, North Surry dropped by West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
