The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs (Jacksonville, NC) and the visiting New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC), saw Northside - Jacksonville's volleyball squad beat New Bern by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Northside - Jacksonville upgrades its record to 1-9 on the year. The Monarchs travel to Havelock (Havelock, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 4-13.

The Bears now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host J.H. Rose for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 5. New Bern will play a Rampants squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Croatan (Newport, NC). The Rampants record now stands at 17-1.
