The Northumberland Indians volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Rappahannock Raiders to 1 in the Indians non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Indians now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lancaster for a non-league game on Thursday, October 5. Northumberland will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA). The Red Devils record now stands at 9-4.
The Raiders (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Essex (Tappahannock, VA). The Trojans enter the non-league game with a 0-10 record. In their last game, Essex was nudged by Westmoreland (Montross, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
