Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), 2-0 in a non-league game.

The Warriors now possess a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sun Valley for a non-league game on Thursday, October 5. Weddington will meet a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 3-6.

The Pirates (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Ragin' Bulls enter the non-league game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Hickory Ridge was dropped by Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
