De Smet Jesuit Spartans (St. Louis, MO) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Christian Brothers Cadets (St. Louis, MO), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Parkway South Patriots (Manchester, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 7. De Smet Jesuit will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Westminster Christian (St. Louis, MO).

The Cadets now have a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they host Howell North for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 6. Christian Brothers will confront a Knights team coming off a 3-2 league win over Howell Central (St. Charles, MO). The Knights record now stands at 8-3.
