Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM), 6-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Golden Eagles confront the West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 challenge, on Saturday, October 7. Eldorado will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 5-2 league loss to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM).

The Scorpions now have a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they host La Cueva for a 5A District 2 challenge on Saturday, October 7. Farmington will confront a Bears team coming off a 4-0 league win over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears record now stands at 12-1.
