In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Hobbs Eagles soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Roswell Coyotes.
The Eagles (15-0) will now prepare for their battle against Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Wildcats go into the 5A District 4 battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Clovis nipped Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM), 3-2, in a league battle.
