Georgia High School Softball - Valdosta gets by Clinch County

The Valdosta Wildcats got by the host Clinch County Panthers softball squad by a final score of 10-9 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Wildcats (4-17) will now prepare for their battle against Turner County (Ashburn, GA). The Titans go into the non-league battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Turner County nudged Pelham (Pelham, GA), 14-3, in a non-league battle.

The Panthers now possess a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Charlton County for a 1A D-II Region 2 battle on Thursday, October 5. Clinch County will meet a Indians squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Indians record now stands at 7-9.
