Washington Bluejays (Washington, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Fort Zumwalt East (St. Peters, MO), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bluejays now sport a 27-0 record. They take the field next when they host Warrenton for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 4. Washington will face a Warriors squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Bowling Green (Bowling Green, MO). The Warriors record now stands at 13-8.

With the loss, Fort Zumwalt East falls to 12-9 on the campaign. The travel to Howell Central (St. Charles, MO) to face the Spartans in a Class 4 District 7 challenge on Wednesday, October 4. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 9-19. Howell Central lost 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Dominic (O'Fallon, MO)
