Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting New Hampstead Phoenix (Savannah, GA), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Sharks now sport a 3-13 record. They take the field next when they host New Hampstead for a 4A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, October 3. Islands will face a Phoenix squad coming off a 19-2 league loss to Burke County (Waynesboro, GA). The Phoenix record now stands at 1-14.

With the loss, New Hampstead falls to 1-16 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to Islands (Savannah, GA) to face the Sharks in a 4A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, October 3.
