The Jackson Red Devils routed the host Mary Persons Bulldogs softball squad by a final score of 8-2 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Red Devils (18-7) will now prepare for their battle against Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region 2 battle with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Mary Persons was routed by Pike County (Zebulon, GA), 6-3, in a league battle.
