In Tuesday's league contest, the Pataula Charter Academy Panthers (Edison, GA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Quitman County Hornets (Georgetown, GA), by a margin of 25-3.

With the triumph, Pataula Charter Academy moves its record to 12-6 on the year. The Panthers host Quitman County (Georgetown, GA) to play the Hornets in a 1A D-II Region 1 contest on Tuesday, October 3. The Hornets come into the contest with a record of 1-12. Quitman County lost 5-1 in their recent league contest against Southwest Georgia STEM Charter (Shellman, GA)
