Georgia High School Softball - Washington County bounces Putnam County

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Washington County Golden Hawks (Sandersville, GA) and the host Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA), witnessed Washington County's softball squad prevail over Putnam County by a count of 15-0.

The Golden Hawks now sport a 18-4 record. They play next when they travel to Thomson for a non-league match on Tuesday, October 3. Washington County will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Screven County (Sylvania, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-8.

With the loss, Putnam County moves to 3-13 on the season.
