The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) and the visiting Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA), saw Albemarle's volleyball squad beat Western Albemarle by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Albemarle upgrades its record to 12-4 on the year. The Patriots host Orange County (Orange, VA) to play the Fighting Hornets in a Jefferson bout on Thursday, October 5. The Fighting Hornets go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Orange County lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA)

The Warriors now own a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Louisa County for a Jefferson bout on Wednesday, October 4. Western Albemarle will play a Lions squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Lions record now stands at 5-6.
