The North Linn Lynx volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Alburnett Pirates to 1 in the Lynx league victory on Tuesday.
The Lynx now have a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central City for a Tri-Rivers - Valley game on Thursday, October 5. North Linn will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Starmont (Arlington, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 17-8.
The Pirates (3-15) will now prepare for their game against Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA). The Wildcats enter the Tri-Rivers - Valley game with a 11-12 record. In their last game, Maquoketa Valley gained a win over East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA), 3-0, in a league game.
