The Alcoa Tornadoes volleyball team (Alcoa, TN), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN)

The Mavericks (27-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Pigeon Forge (Pigeon Forge, TN). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 8-13 record. In their last challenge, Pigeon Forge went down by Seymour (Seymour, TN), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tornadoes encounter the Seymour Eagles (Seymour, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 9. Alcoa will attempt to move on its 8-10 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 18-14 record after their 3-1 league win over Pigeon Forge (Pigeon Forge, TN).
