The Appomattox County Raiders volleyball squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Dan River Wildcats to 0 in the Raiders league win on Tuesday.

With the win, Appomattox County betters its record to 12-2 on the year. The Raiders host Gretna (Gretna, VA) to face the Hawks in a Dogwood outing on Thursday, October 5. The Hawks go into the outing with a record of 6-6. Gretna won 3-0 in their recent league outing against William Campbell (Naruna, VA)

The Wildcats now sport a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Gretna for a Dogwood outing on Tuesday, October 10. Dan River will face a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 6-7.
