The Ashbrook Greenwave volleyball team (Gastonia, NC), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC)

The Chargers (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Storm enter the Big South 3A challenge with a 9-7 record.

Next, the Greenwave meet the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a Big South 3A challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Ashbrook will attempt to move on its 0-12 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 3-0 league win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC).
