The Thurston Colts topped the host Ashland Grizzlies volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Colts now have a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Churchill for a 5A Midwestern test on Wednesday, October 4. Thurston will confront a Lancers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Sheldon (Eugene, OR). The Lancers record now stands at 6-5.
The Grizzlies (4-13) will now prepare for their test against Crater (Central Point, OR). The Comets enter the 5A Midwestern test with a 15-7 record. In their last test, Crater gained a win over Del Norte (Crescent City, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
