The Ashley Screaming Eagle topped the visiting West Brunswick Trojans volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league test.

The Screaming Eagle now have a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoggard for a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Thursday, October 5. Ashley will confront a Vikings team coming off a 3-1 league win over Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 19-5.

The Trojans (4-12) will now prepare for their test against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions enter the Mideastern 3A/4A test with a 1-15 record. In their last test, North Brunswick was knocked off by New Hanover (Wilmington, NC), 3-1, in a league test.
