The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY) and the host Barbourville Tigers (Barbourville, KY), saw Harlan County's volleyball squad beat Barbourville by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Harlan County upgrades its record to 16-6 on the year. The Black Bears travel to Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Monday, October 9. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Thomas Walker won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA)

The Tigers now own a 10-14 record. They play next when they host Williamsburg for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 5. Barbourville will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Clay County (Manchester, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 14-13.
