Texas High School Volleyball - Union Grove over Big Sandy

Union Grove Lions (Gladewater, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Beckville Bearcats (Beckville, TX) in a 2A Region III District 19 match, on Friday, October 6. Union Grove will attempt to advance on its 14-18 season record. The Bearcats come into the match with a 16-17 record after their 3-0 league win over Carlisle (Price, TX).

With the loss, Big Sandy drops to 6-17 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Overton (Overton, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a 2A Region III District 19 match on Friday, October 6.
