The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA) and the visiting Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA), saw Buckingham's volleyball squad beat Lunenburg Central by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Buckingham upgrades its record to 6-6 on the year. The Knights travel to Nottoway (Nottoway, VA) to play the Cougars in a James River bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-6.

The Chargers now own a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Mecklenburg County for a non-league bout on Monday, October 9. Lunenburg Central will play a Phoenix squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Vance Charter (Henderson, NC). The Phoenix record now stands at 13-2.
