The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC) and the host Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), saw Carolina International's volleyball squad beat Sugar Creek by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Carolina International upgrades its record to 10-6 on the year. The Comets host Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to play the Stallions in a Metro Eight 1A bout on Friday, October 6. The Stallions go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Queen's Grant won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Apprentice Academy (Monroe, NC)

The Wildcats now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Apprentice Academy for a Metro Eight 1A bout on Friday, October 6. Sugar Creek will play a Red Wolves squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Red Wolves record now stands at 2-7.
