The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Walnut Ridge Bobcats (Walnut Ridge, AR) and the visiting Cave City Cavemen (Cave City, AR), saw Walnut Ridge's volleyball squad beat Cave City by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Walnut Ridge upgrades its record to 14-6 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Newport (Newport, AR) to play the Greyhounds in a 3A Northeast bout on Monday, October 9. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 6-14. Newport lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Conway (Conway, AR)
The Cavemen now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they host Manila for a 3A Northeast bout on Thursday, October 5. Cave City will play a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR). The Lions record now stands at 13-4.
