In Tuesday's league battle, the host Charlottesville Black Knights volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Orange County Fighting Hornets.

The Black Knights (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos come into the Jefferson battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Fluvanna County achieved victory over Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Fighting Hornets clash with the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson battle, on Thursday, October 5. Orange County will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 12-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA).
