Alabama High School Volleyball - Colbert County crushed by Cherokee

The Cherokee Indians topped the visiting Colbert County Indians volleyball team by a score of 25-20 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Indians now have a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shoals Christian for a 1A Area 16 test on Thursday, October 5. Cherokee will confront a Flame team coming off a 3-0 league win over Covenant Christian (Tuscumbia, AL). The Flame record now stands at 18-3.
The Indians (6-13) will now prepare for their test against Russellville (Russellville, AL). The Golden Tigers enter the non-league test with a 13-19 record. In their last test, Russellville gained a win over Haleyville (Haleyville, AL), 3-0, in a non-league test.
