Next up, the Panthers battle the Gold-Burg Bears (Bowie, TX) in a 1A Region III District 17 match, on Friday, October 6. Saint Jo will attempt to better on its 22-10 season record. The Bears come into the match with a 1-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, TX).

With the loss, Chico drops to 5-8 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Alvord (Alvord, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a 2A Region II District 9 match on Friday, October 6. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 11-16.
