Texas High School Volleyball - Clint over Mountain View

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Clint Lions (Clint, TX) and the visiting Mountain View Lobos (El Paso, TX), saw Clint's volleyball squad beat Mountain View by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Clint upgrades its record to 9-12 on the year. The Lions host San Elizario (San Elizario, TX) to play the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 2 bout on Friday, October 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 11-11. San Elizario lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Fabens (Fabens, TX)

The Lobos now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Loretto for a non-league bout on Friday, October 6. Mountain View will play a Angels squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Riverside (El Paso, TX). The Angels record now stands at 12-9.
