The Riverbend Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Colonial Forge Eagles to 2 in the Bears league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears now possess a 20-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stafford for a Commonwealth game on Thursday, October 5. Riverbend will meet a Indians team coming off a 3-0 league loss to North Stafford (Stafford, VA). The Indians record now stands at 4-6.
The Eagles (12-3) will now prepare for their game against Brooke Point (Stafford, VA). The Black Hawks enter the Commonwealth game with a 1-14 record. In their last game, Brooke Point was nudged by Mountain View (Stafford, VA), 3-2, in a league game.
