North Carolina High School Volleyball - Manteo over Currituck County

October 3, 2023: Barco, NC 27917

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) and the host Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), saw Manteo's volleyball squad beat Currituck County by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Manteo upgrades its record to 10-6 on the year. The Redskins travel to Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC) to play the Panthers in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A bout on Thursday, October 5. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Pasquotank County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC)

The Knights now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Holmes for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A bout on Thursday, October 5. Currituck County will play a Aces squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Aces record now stands at 12-6.
