With the win, Pittsburg upgrades its record to 6-19 on the year. The Dragons travel to Paola (Paola, KS) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 5. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 14-13. Paola won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Bonner Springs (Bonner Springs, KS)

The Golden Tornado now own a 5-21 record. They play next when they host Parsons for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10. Field Kindley will play a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Frontenac (Frontenac, KS). The Vikings record now stands at 10-9.
